Lithuania has a great history, but online sources provide it in quite boring manner. A system that presents history and culture of Grand Duchy of Lithuania is also an unconventional tool of education which we managed to create as engaging and interesting piece to read for a reader of any age.
 
History of Grand Duchy of Lithuania we narrated using 120 interesting scenarios that visually and verbally depict historical facts and events. Readers will discover 45 special animations enriched with voiceovers and sound effects. We were looking for the best plot, characters, poses and angles, authentic details of specific years to illustrate each turn of history of Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Modern design and trendy content solution was determined project's particularity – it contains tons of content. We wanted users to focus attention on content, easy search and reading, and that’s why we hid navigation elements – they appear on demand.

In the 18th century people of Grand duchy of Lithuania often travelled. The travel route was limited only by caste.

Sacrifices to the Gods were a custom among pagan tribes. They believed that Gods could help to detect enemies using spells, while Crusaders used scouts.
 
 
 
Daumantas Pskoviškis, the nomad
He  is the killer of the king Mindaugas and fugitive from Lithuania. He is the defender of the lands of people who gave him shelter, city builder and the duke of city Pskov. After death he became an Orthodox saint.
 
 
 
Defense of Vilnius in 1794
When the commandant of Vilnius was going to escape from the invading Russians, the defense of city was on the shoulders of citizens. When enemy was near, even the rich citizens took shovels and went to fight.

Great victory and great debts. When Smolensk citizens realized that defense was broken, they hid treasures in church which was stood surrounded by gunpowder storehouses. Zigmantas Vaza was hoping to cover war costs but they it blew up.
